Learning Information

Kia ora family and whānau

The school holidays are coming to an end. I have meet with all our teachers and we have come up with a Wellbeing and curriculum delivery programme that focuses on the following:

Aim 1: To support relationships and wellbeing of learners
Aim 2: To support connections between school and learners
Aim 3: To support and maintain learning programmes

The following initiatives will start on Wednesday, 15th April, when school resumes for Term 2:
  • Teachers will provide a daily programme/timetable that will be updated each week.
  • Teachers will provide ongoing support for their homeroom tamariki.
  • Teachers will provide feedback to tamariki work sent to them from whānau
  • Teachers will make at least one personalised contact to  tamariki in their homerooms each week
  • Teachers will respond to caregiver requests from their homeroom in a timely way.
  • Year 1-4 Team Leader (Deb Wheelan) and the Year 5-8 Team Leader (Karen Blatchford) will send out a newsletter at the beginning of Term 2.
I will also be using this blog to provide you with wellbeing advice and information through Mana Ake kaimahi and leading lights resources.
